Smartwatch+ for Pebble App Reviews

When I say all the time I really mean it. It crashed 4 times within 15 minutes last night, forcing a Pebble reboot each time. If it worked consistently it would be a fantastic app, and I am hopeful that it will live up to its potential in the future. But as it stands right now this app is going to frustrate or disappoint you.

Connects so fast. All my info on my wrist and everything loads quick and easy to read.

This is a great app. If the connection issues can be repaired Ill more than gladly give it 5 stars.

The internet said there would be siri and text message abbylitys

App works well once you understand that the app needs to stay running and that you need to close other apps to stop IOS from shutting it down.

Doesnt start connected to my pebble so Im forced to keep opening the app everytime I want the info to update

3/2/14 - crashes & disconnects more often since SDK 2.0. Rather frustrating & annoying. Dropping my rating as this has been going on for a while. 10/19/13 - still love this app (when it works). It constantly looses connection and does not reconnect unless you close the app & reopen it. My screen always says updating but doesnt update. This app is awesome!!!! I was so hesitant after wasting my money on Smartwatch Pro but this app does the same and so much more!! This is how Pebble should be by default. Only issue Im having, it keeps crashing when listening to & controlling music.

Worked occasionally but not anymore. Tried restarting app, etc but nothing. App just says "Loading..."

Hello So Ive recently purchased this app. Its crap. Never connects. As I write this its still waiting for it to "load". The loading screen is the most youll get from this app. Do not purchase. I will be purchasing swartwatch pro because I am so disappointed with this app. Would actually prefer a refund. Even when you download it to your pebble. Youll notice shortcomings which make it look shotty and cheap. Poorly designed. Where is my refund.

This is a great app, absolutely one of the most useful by far. Using the Smartstatus screen to get weather from your city of choice and current calendar events, while keeping the email/phone/SMS notify functions of the Pebble itself is a must have. I have had this app for almost a year and would not hesitate to recommend it to all Pebble owners, I just love it. I would have given this app 5 stars without hesitation, but left it at 4 since it still "seems" to break now and again, which might be something relating to how Apple/Pebble manage device battery consumption. I ABSOLUTELY love the new "lost comms" vibrate and crossed icon feature. It lets you know right away when you left your phone behind (e.g. charging in the car while you hop out to do some shopping, or even left behind at the bar/restaurant). Its worth having the app just for that feature alone, if it saves you losing your phone.

Comparable to Smartwatch Pro, but it crashes more often...I hope updates will be available on a regular basis!

I have bought just about all of the apps available for Pebble, and Smartwatch + is by far the best of the bunch. It makes the most of the limited space on my Pebble watch with features that are essential to me. I highly recommend it!

This app has one huge drawback to being useful -- when you load the app on your Pebble, it also has to be running on the iPhone. The "Smartwatch+" application does not have background running permissions. Every time I want to use a feature on Smartwatch+, I have to unlock my phone and load the application.

Dont even bother with this app. Its a great concept but only works on your Pebble if the application is running on your phone. Save your money.

I felt compelled to write a review after reading so many negative reviews. This app works extremely well. I bought a Pebble and felt it lacked integration with my iPhone. This app imports so much of what I need from my phone. Im really impressed. I was really hesitant to buy the app with all the bad reviews and Im really glad I did. I have an iPhone 5S with the latest version of iOS and the original Pebble watch. Everything runs without problem. You have to keep the app open/running on your phone in order for the watch to receive data. It hardly affected my phone battery after I switched GPS updates to manual and everything else to update every 30-minutes. Buy the app, its worth it.
